Mise en scene Preliminary Exercise (Activity 3): Costume, Hair & Makeup

    During this portion of the exercise, I learned how to analyze the appearance of the protagonist from my chosen film. The media I created is a chart, and to craft this material, I used google slides, followed by gathering my information from watching clips of the film 'It 2', released on September 6th, 2022 found on YouTube. My partners Su-Young, Julien, and I used our personal laptops, which made it a swift process to design & report information onto the slide. However, one hitch that we encountered during this exercise was choosing who was responsible for the way the chart looked. We were able to overcome this obstacle by noting our responsibilities. 

    During the pre production of a film, it is crucial to have the elements of a character noted in order to use clues from the story to learn more about the character, It is also important because it helps us understand the story, along with bringing general captivation towards the character. The settings discussions may help me establish the mood for my film before recording. Overall, analyzing the elements of mise en scene may support the understanding of the directors message, and theme- which my ultimately help me and my crew for filming!

CAMERA COMPOSITION    During this portion of the CameraWork task, my partner Su-Young & I were able to develop, as well as identify different camera compositions. By doing so, we created a graphic organizer using the media google slides to guide us along the way. We chose to use google slides because not only was it a familiar device to us, but also made it easier for to express our creativity freedom, as well as following the concept we were taught to create this slides, which I was show now!      For shot number's 6 & 1, my task was to create the format/design of our graphic organizer, as well as identifying the action line, what is happening, and 2 codes!
