Section 1: CameraWork
During this portion of the CameraWork task, my partner Su-Young & I were able to develop, as well as identify different shot sizes. By doing so, we created a graphic organizer using the media google slides to guide us along the way. We chose to use google slides because not only was it more simplistic, but also allowed us to express our creative freedom using various colors to fit the theme, horror (red, yellow, black, gray), as well as following the concept we were taught to create this slides, which I was show now!
For shot number's 7 & 8, my task was to create the format/design of our graphic organizer, as well as identifying the action line, what is happening, and 2 codes! On the other hand, Su-Young assisted by identifying the tone of the image, definitions, and mise en scene elements. One thing I learned while completing this section of the organizer is how to edit images by implanting colors. . This will ultimately help our team while making our final film, while incorporating several frames with different shot sizes, with a different tone. One thing that we found difficult was being able to identify the mise en scene codes with the following images; however, we overcame this problem by noting how we used each term we learned over this course so far!
Overall, this segment was very interesting to blog about, as it gave me an insight of stuff we created, and how we can use it inside our film.
